Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working on behalf of a leading manufacturing business that produces and distributes high-performance alloys. They are seeking a Heat Treatment Operative to join their ever-expanding team at their Sheffield facility.Shift PatternThis role works on a 3-shift rotation, covering:Days: Monday to Friday, 6am-2pmAfternoons: Monday to Friday, 1pm-9pmNights: Monday to Thursday, 8pm-6amDuties and ResponsibilitiesCarry out heat-treatment processes across a range of high-performance alloy products, ensuring each stage meets strict metallurgical and quality specifications.Operate furnaces, ovens, quench systems and related equipment, following controlled procedures for tempering, annealing, solution treatment, hardening, and stress relieving.Monitor temperature profiles, soak times and cooling rates, ensuring all parameters align with heat-treatment instructions.Perform accurate material identification before and after processing and immediately report any anomalies to the Chargehand or Heat Treatment Manager.Build, load, and break down charges safely, ensuring correct layout, spacing, and fixture selection to guarantee consistent results.Conduct straightening and Brinelling work as required, ensuring products meet dimensional accuracy and surface integrity targets.Maintain complete traceability and accurate administrative records for all processed material.Work efficiently to meet customer deadlines while complying with Health and Safety ..... full job details .....
