Healthcare Assistant SEN Primary SchoolLocation: Wandsworth Hours: Full-Time / Term-Time Only Salary: Dependent on Experience Start Date: ASAP Are you passionate about making a real difference in children s lives?Do you have a caring nature and experience supporting children with additional needs?We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our vibrant and inclusive SEN primary school. Our pupils have a range of complex needs including ASD, SEMH, ADHD, and behavioural challenges. Many also require 1:1 support, and assistance with personal care routines, PEG feeding, and toileting. Your Role Will Include:Providing 1:1 support to pupils with complex needs throughout the school dayAssisting with personal care, including toileting and hygiene needsSupporting children with PEG feeding (training can be provided)Helping manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours in a calm, supportive mannerBuilding positive, trusting relationships with pupils to promote confidence and engagementWorking closely with teaching staff, therapists, and other professionals as part of a caring team We re Looking For Someone Who:Has experience working with children with SEN, particularly ASD, SEMH, ADHD, or behavioural needsIs confident or trained in personal care and/or PEG feeding (or willing to train)Has a calm, patient, and nurturing approachUnderstands the importance of consistency and clear communicationIs reliable, flexible, and passionate about inclusive educationWhat ..... full job details .....
