MMP Consultancy is seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Fire Manager for a permanent opportunity based in Central London. This role offers a salary of -60,000 - -65,000 per annum and is based on-site, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.


Working within a complex multi-site healthcare environment, you''ll act as the lead for all health, safety and fire-related matters across operational and clinical settings. You''ll work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure compliance, manage risk, drive continuous improvement and promote a proactive safety culture that protects staff, visitors and service users.


Responsibilities:

  • Act as the lead advisor on all health, safety and fire-related matters across the organisation.
  • Develop, implement and monitor health, safety and fire management systems and controls.
  • Identify, assess and mitigate health and safety risks across operational and clinical environments.
  • Conduct audits and compliance reviews, ensuring adherence to relevant legislation and best practice.
  • Lead on fire safety compliance and manage actions arising from fire risk assessments.
  • Produce health and safety dashboards, reports and annual performance reports.
  • Coordinate and manage external inspections, audits and regulatory reviews.
  • Maintain compliance evidence and documentation to support statutory obligations.
  • Investigate incidents, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Deliver health, safety and fire training to employees and stakeholders.
  • Work closely with senior management to support business continuity and compliance objectives.
  • Promote a positive health and safety culture across all sites.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience working in a Health and Safety Manager position.
  • Experience operating within a complex, multi-site environment.
  • Strong knowledge of health, safety and fire legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Experience carrying out audits, inspections and compliance monitoring activities.
  • Strong analytical, reporting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience producing management reports, dashboards and performance information.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and deliver health and safety training programmes.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate.
  • NEBOSH Diploma or currently working towards completion.
