We are seeking an Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to lead the safety and environmental initiatives at a 24/7 manufacturing site. You will work closely with senior management to implement, maintain, and improve HSE standards across the site, ensuring full compliance with UK legislation. Key responsibilities:Lead the development and delivery of safety and environmental programmes, including audits, risk assessments, investigations, and compliance activities.Drive a positive safety culture through staff engagement, training, and communication initiatives.Manage the site''s Environmental Management System in accordance with ISO 14001:2018, ensuring ongoing compliance and continuous improvement.Coordinate the environmental licence (IPPC), statutory reporting, and sustainability metrics related to energy, waste, and water.Represent the organisation at external HSE forums and build networks for safety development and best practice sharing.
