Health and Safety Manager Location: Leicester (with regular UK travel) Full Time Permanent An exciting opportunity Our client is a well-established, national retail business with an extensive UK store network. They are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to lead and develop their health and safety function across multiple locations. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive Health and Safety professional who enjoys working closely with operational teams, influencing positive change and driving a strong safety culture across a fast-paced, multi-site business. The Role Reporting to the senior leadership team, you will take ownership of the company''s Health and Safety strategy, ensuring compliance with legislation while supporting managers to create safe and healthy working environments. Your responsibilities will include: Providing expert Health and Safety advice and guidance to managers across the business. Ensuring compliance with current UK Health and Safety legislation and company policies. Conducting site inspections, audits and compliance reviews across retail stores and operational locations. Investigating accidents, incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing preventative measures. Developing and reviewing risk assessments, safe systems of work and Health and Safety policies. Delivering Health and Safety training, toolbox talks and awareness sessions.
