Health and Safety Manager

We are currently working with a well-established specialist contractor operating across groundworks, reinforced concrete frames, basements, remediation and civil engineering. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Lead Health and Safety Manager to take a senior role within the business and help drive standards across their projects and wider operations. The Role This is a key position within the organisation, working closely with senior management, project teams and site personnel to ensure health and safety remains at the forefront of project delivery.You will take ownership of the company''s HandS approach while providing practical support and leadership across multiple live projects. Responsibilities will include: Leading and developing the company''s Health and Safety strategy Providing expert HandS advice to senior management and operational teams Conducting regular site inspections, audits and compliance reviews Supporting project teams with risk assessments and method statements Reviewing and developing Construction Phase Plans Monitoring compliance with CDM and relevant HandS legislation Identifying potential risks and implementing appropriate control measures Investigating accidents, incidents and near misses Producing reports and recommendations for senior management Working closely with Site Managers, Project Managers and Contracts Managers Delivering toolbox talks, briefings and HandS training where required Supporting the development of a ..... full job details .....
