Health and Safety Manager - Gloucester - Salary £50-60K Industry - Food/ Slaughter Hall/ Boning Hall The Role: Our Gloucester site requires a Health and Safety Manager to be based at the site in the Forest Vale Industrial Estate in Cinderford. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established food processing group at a senior level. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of day-to-day safety management at the Cinderford site as well as providing safety management cover at the Melton Mowbray site one day every fortnight. Reporting directly to the site General Manager the role is fully supported from within the Group Safety Management structure. About you: NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent Occupational Safety qualification Proven experience in safety supervision and management Excellent leadership and people management skills Strong communication and organisation capabilities A proactive approach to continuous safety management The role: Lead, develop, and continuously improve safety management systems in line with ISO45001 Manage incident and accident investigations and implementing effective corrective actions Undertake regular internal safety audits / facilitate external safety audits Maintain site risk assessments and safety manuals Provide day-to-day operational HSE support to the site management team Oversee contractor management systems Drive and foster a continuous safety culture on site Other Information: Competitive salary and benefits. ..... full job details .....
