Health and Safety Manager

I''m currently partnering with a successful, fast growing fresh produce business to recruit a Health & Safety Manager to lead safety strategy across their multi site operation.

This is a senior, business critical role reporting directly to the Executive Team. It is a fantastic opportunity to shape, influence and elevate Health & Safety standards across a complex, fast paced agricultural and food production environment.

The Role

You will work cross functionally with Production, Harvest, Technical and Logistics teams to ensure Health & Safety is fully aligned with operational and food safety standards, including BRCGS requirements.

With direct access to senior leadership, you will influence strategic decisions, advise on statutory responsibilities and play a key role in protecting both people and business continuity.

The Responsibilites

• Lead Health & Safety strategy and compliance across multiple sites

• Manage risk assessments and Safe Systems of Work

• Oversee incident investigation and corrective actions

• Conduct audits and drive continuous improvement

• Support training and workforce safety initiatives

• Advise senior leadership on statutory obligations

What I am looking for

• NEBOSH General Certificate

• Health & Safety experience in food production, agriculture or manufacturing

• Knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation

• Experience in high risk operational environments
