Health and Safety Manager - Suffolk - heavy civil engineering project within the power sector - £65k-£70k+car/benefits - fantastic opportunity for a well-respected Principal Contractor with a strong people focus and opportunities for progression.This is a full-time, permanent position offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced Health and Safety professional to support and maintain and develop health and safety standards across projects.The Role: Supporting day-to-day health and safety across the siteEnsuring compliance with current HandS legislationDeveloping and maintaining HandS policies and proceduresCarrying out risk assessments, audits and site inspectionsInvestigating incidents and implementing corrective actionsProviding HandS guidance, training and support to employees and managementPromoting a strong health and safety culture throughout the business The Candidate: Previous experience in a Health and SafetyManager or HandS Advisor rolePreferably experience within the construction, heavy civil engineering or power sectorNEBOSH qualification or equivalent is desirableStrong knowledge of HandS legislation and best practiceExcellent communication and organisational skillsProactive approach with the ability to work independently and influence others ..... full job details .....
