Reporting in to our European Health and Safety Manager, you will be expected to support and provide guidance to all functions on operational Health and Safety activities ensuring compliance with Global and Regional Health and Safety policies, standards and legislation. The Health and Safety team are part of the Shared Services function within the business, supporting the wider teams and offices on all health and safety matters within the European Region. The position has arisen due to business growth and the need for additional resources to support increasing demands and improvement activities throughout the business. The role The role offers exposure into a wide range of health and safety areas, and if successful you will be responsible for tasks including: Support the European Health and Safety Manager and Health and Safety Team to manage and maintain the Health and Safety system and ensure adherence to all relevant legislation and agreed internal and external standards. Promote the development and implementation of the risk assessment process across SLR, in line with the Risk Management Strategy and Risk Assessment procedures.
