Health and Safety Advisor Location: Exeter, Devon / South West Salary: 40,000 - 45,000 Sector: Water / Utilities / Civil Engineering / Infrastructure Safety Talent is recruiting a Health and Safety Advisor on behalf of a well-established UK infrastructure contractor delivering essential water and utilities projects across the South West. This is a hands-on, site-based Health and Safety position supporting a major long-term water infrastructure contract. You will work closely with operational teams and managers, providing practical Health and Safety advice and helping ensure projects are delivered safely and in line with both legislative requirements and company standards. The role would particularly suit an experienced Health and Safety Advisor from a water, utilities, civil engineering or wider infrastructure background who enjoys being out on sites and working directly with operational teams. The role As Health and Safety Advisor, you will be responsible for supporting sites across the contract and helping maintain and improve Health and Safety performance. Your responsibilities will include: Carrying out site inspections, Health and Safety audits and compliance monitoring Providing practical Health and Safety advice to site teams, supervisors and managers Supporting Health and Safety objectives and improvement plans across the contract Investigating accidents, incidents and near misses and helping identify root causes Making recommendations and following through ..... full job details .....
