Health and Safety Advisor

Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join a great company based in the East Grinstead, West Sussex area. This is a hybrid working Health and Safety Officer role, which will be 2 days office based and will support the work of the Health, Safety and Environment team by providing health and safety advice to the businessSalary: up to 55K dependent on expLocation: East Grinstead - Hybrid - 2 days office based. Some travel is required and be a driverHours: 9-5 Monday to Friday Health and Safety Advisor duties:Produce and implement and review HSandE related policies, proceduresConduct and develop new risk assessments Assist in the development of the risk control systems Carry out and review fire risk assessments for simple buildings and eventsParticipate in HandS Forum meetings Manage the day to day running of the occupational health surveillance programmes Maintain the HSE reporting dashboard Assist the Facilities Manager in their efforts to manage health, safety and environment Manage the day to day running of the online accident and incident reporting and recording systemInvestigate accidents and incidents and gather information from investigations carried out Skills and Experience Required:Proven experience working in a similar Health and Safety / Occupational health and safety role within a large organisationExcellent communication skills both verbally and writtenIdeally qualified - NEBOSH, National General Certificate in Occupational ..... full job details .....
