Health and Safety Advisor

Project Health and Safety Advisor Location: Havant, Hampshire Job Type: Full-time, Permanent The Role We are seeking a motivated and competent Project Health and Safety Advisor to support a major civil engineering project in Havant, Hampshire. Reporting to the Senior HSE Manager, you will work closely with the project leadership and site management teams, providing practical health, safety and environmental guidance to ensure the safe delivery of works and compliance with relevant legislation, company procedures and client requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for a Health and Safety professional with civil engineering experience to join an established infrastructure contractor, gain exposure to a major project and develop their career through ongoing training and professional development. The role will initially be based in Havant, with a willingness to travel to other project locations across the UK, including occasional overnight stays, as required. Key Responsibilities Support the development, implementation and maintenance of project HSE management plans and Construction Phase Plans. Prepare, review and advise on risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), task briefings and safe systems of work. Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks, safety briefings and workforce engagement sessions. Provide practical HSE advice and guidance to project managers, site teams and subcontractors.
