The Health and Safety Administrator will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with safety regulations and supporting operational processes within the transport and distribution industry. They provide Warehousing and transport across all sectors including retail, infrastructure, and defence.DescriptionCoordinate and facilitate safety training sessions for employees/contractors, including induction training and ongoing refresher courses. Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, near misses, and corrective actions, and analyse data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Assist in the investigation of accidents, incidents, and near misses, and collaborate with relevant teams to develop and implement effective corrective and preventive measures. Manage the distribution centre''s safety equipment inventory, ensuring adequate supply and compliance with relevant standards. Liaise with internal auditors to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Support the HSE Manager in the development and maintenance of emergency response plans and procedures, including evacuation drills and first aid drills.
