Health & Safety Manager

We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to take responsibility for overseeing health and safety across multiple commercial construction schemes throughout the Oxford and Bristol regions.

This is an autonomous role for a proactive health and safety professional who can provide strong leadership, support site teams, and ensure the highest standards of compliance are maintained across a varied project portfolio.

The successful candidate will have a strong construction background, with the ability to work independently, influence project teams, and drive a positive health and safety culture across multiple sites.

• Oversee health and safety across multiple commercial construction projects
• Carry out site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
• Provide guidance and support to project teams and site management
• Monitor compliance with health and safety legislation and company standards
• Assist with incident investigations and implement corrective actions
• Promote continuous improvement and a proactive safety culture

• Proven experience in a Health & Safety role within the construction industry
• Strong understanding of commercial construction environments
• Ability to manage multiple sites and work autonomously
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent) preferred
• Strong knowledge of current health and safety legislation and best practice
