Transport Manager Location: London Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Are you an experienced Transport Manager who enjoys being hands-on and making things happen? We are working with a well-established bakery business that is going through an exciting period of investment and transformation. They are looking for a Transport Manager to take ownership of their transport operation and help drive it forward. The Role You will manage a team of 25 drivers and 3 night-shift supervisors, overseeing the delivery of fresh bakery products to 115 stores across 17 routes. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the operation, improving driver retention and ensuring deliveries run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include: Managing drivers, supervisors and the daily transport operation. Overseeing 17 multi-drop delivery routes. Improving driver retention and reducing turnover. Maintaining and improving transport compliance. Managing the O Licence requirements. Reviewing transport processes and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency. Working closely with the senior management team to improve the operation. About You We are looking for someone with experience in a fast-paced, multi-drop transport environment. You may be a Transport Manager, Head of Transport or an experienced Transport Supervisor ready to take the next step.
