The Head of Supported Housing will lead and manage supported housing services, ensuring high-quality delivery and compliance with industry standards. This role is based in York and focuses on driving operational and strategic excellence

As a registered care provider regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), they provide care services which are tailored to people''s needs, offering residential and nursing care as well as care within people''s homes. JRHT currently offer care and extra care provision at 5 locations across York, Hartlepool and Scarborough. All of the care services are currently rated as Good by CQC, nevertheless they are continually striving to identify areas for improvement.

Description

• Oversee the management and delivery of supported housing services, ensuring they meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the effectiveness of housing services.
• Lead and support a team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
• Manage budgets and resources efficiently to ensure sustainability and value for money.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including service users and external partners.
• Monitor service performance and address any issues to ensure continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within all housing operations.
• Contribute to organisational objectives by aligning supported housing services with broader goals.

Profile

A successful Head of Supported Housing should have:

• Proven experience in managing supported housing or similar services within the Housing sector.
• A strong understanding of housing regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team effectively.
• Experience in budget management and resource allocation.
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality housing services with a focus on community impact.
