About The Role: A new role in our Technology leadership, Head of Strategy and Portfolio, is responsible for maintaining the overall technology strategy, roadmap, and budget. They ensure alignment between strategic objectives and technology investments across all technology functions.This includes facilitating and informing decision-making, providing strategic advice on funding and resource prioritization, managing portfolio governance, and ensuring the portfolio delivers expected benefits.They are also responsible for delivering projects outside of product value workstreams and developing project delivery capabilities for technology change.Responsibilities:

Portfolio Management:

Maintain the technology portfolio roadmap, ensure strategic alignment, and support the Strategic Investment Committee.Funding and Resource Allocation:

Facilitate prioritization discussions, coordinate resource views, and manage departmental budgets.Governance:

Chair strategic governance forums, manage portfolio governance processes encouraging change and innovation.Benefits Management:

Oversee delivery toward strategic benefits, aggregate benefits for decision-making, and incorporate metrics into strategy reviews.Risk Management:

Identify strategic risks, contribute to company-wide risk processes, and work with security teams on mitigation strategies.Supplier Management:

Own supplier strategy, ensure alignment with procurement, and resolve challenges.Budgeting and Cost Control:

Manage budgets, control expenses, and ensure value for money.Project Delivery:

Oversee delivery of projects outside core product/BAU, build project management capabilities.Team Leadership:

Lead, mentor, and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within the team.About You - Minimum Criteria:

Proven experience in strategic planning, portfolio, project management, and business development in tech.Strong leadership and motivational skills.Understanding of financial planning and accounting.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.Effective communication with diverse stakeholders.Ability to adapt to change and guide through uncertainty.Strong business partnering, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Leadership qualities including strategic thinking and influencing.Visionary mindset focused on growth and innovation.About The Company:
