Head of Security OperationsMarlow - HybridUp to £120,000 base salary + bonusVIQU have partnered with a leading Managed Service Provider who are recruiting for a Head of Security Operations to lead and manage the Security Operations Centre (SOC). The candidate must have experience working in a Managed Service setting and must have either set up or improved an existing SOC in this company.This is a strategic role, coming in to improve the SOC over time, automate processes, improve scalability and manage members of the team.Key responsibilities of the Head of Security Operations: Manage the continual improvement of the SOC team (currently 26 people), leading it to become more automated and scalable.Develop the SOC, ensuring it can serve international clients.Implement and come up with new processes and manage governance of the SOC.Act as a senior point of escalation - including but not limited to, hierarchical, technical and customer escalations.Ensure that integration, release and operational procedures and practices are well defined, documented and consistently applied. Experience needed for the Head of Security Operations: Must hold experience of working in a senior capacity in Managed Service setting.Must have previously either developed a new SOC team, or led and improved an existing SOC team, ensuring that it is scalable and automated.Have a strong personality, with an ability to lead a team and manage key stakeholders within the business.Relevant Security industry ..... full job details .....
