Head of Safeguarding. HOME BASED - FLEXIBLE LOCATION. Healthcare. Mental Health. Public Health. Community Health. Children''s Services & Adult Services.-

A superb, newly created opportunity is available to join a successful, well established care provider as their Head of Safeguarding.-

You will have excellent knowledge of safeguarding (working with children would be a bonus, but this role covers both children''s services and adults), with superb communication skills and an ability quickly grasp a dispersed, complex organisation.-

This will be an excellent chance to be exposed to a wide range of cutting-edge health services, where you will take a lead role in terms of safeguarding practice and procedure.-

Working with (and with the support of) the senior management team, you will be the key point of contact for safeguarding. -You will provide supervision for the DSLs in different parts of the organisation, plan and deliver safeguarding training at all levels, conduct audit,-support management with preparations for inspections, and much more.-

No two days will be the same, and you will have relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. This is a progressive organisation embarking on a period of planned expansion, so an exciting time to join and be part of their ongoing success story. -Any relevant qualifications would be useful (Level 4 Safeguarding, IOSH/NEBOSH) or certainly a desire to complete such qualifications if not already held.
