Head of Legal Practice (HoLP) Location: Bromsgrove, Worcestershire Salary: £50,000-£70,000 DOE Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Working Pattern: Office-based We''re recruiting for an experienced Head of Legal Practice (HoLP) to join a growing residential conveyancing business based in Bromsgrove. This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced conveyancing professional who can combine strong technical expertise with regulatory oversight, people leadership and commercial awareness. As the firm''s designated Head of Legal Practice, you''ll take responsibility for legal quality, governance, compliance and risk while leading and developing the legal team. The Role As Head of Legal Practice, you will: Act as the firm''s approved Head of Legal Practice under the CLC regulatory framework Lead legal compliance, governance and risk management Ensure compliance with CLC regulatory requirements and relevant legislation Supervise and support lawyers and conveyancers Provide technical guidance on complex residential conveyancing matters Review high-risk and technically challenging transactions Oversee complaints, file audits and quality assurance Maintain effective AML, sanctions, source of funds and fraud prevention controls Act as a key contact for CLC inspections, audits and regulatory reviews Lead, mentor and develop the legal team Improve legal processes and operational efficiency Support the implementation of legal technology and automation Monitor performance, ..... full job details .....
