We are currently recruiting for a Head of Housing on a 12 month initial contract for a busy local authority. Your main role will be to lead the management, development, performance and continuous improvement of all Housing services including, Housing Needs and Homelessness, Tenancy Services and Rent, and Private Sector Housing. The ideal candidate will be an experience Housing Service Manager / Housing Manager / Head of Housing that the following skills and experience: Extensive leadership and senior management experience in a complex organisation. Evidence of controlling and managing substantial budgets. Excellent stakeholder management and engagement skills Educated to Degree Level or equivalent relevant to Housing. Foundation degree/Level 5 qualification in housing management. Ideally Chartered membership of the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) or working towards CIH or other relevant profession body.
