As Head of History, you''ll lead with purpose and precision. You''ll inspire curiosity in all students, drive excellence at GCSE, and build a team culture rooted in our core values. You will:Be a History specialist with a love of your subject and an ability to share that passion.Provide leadership, whether you are new to leadership or an experienced leader, with support to ensure History is a very high performing subject when compared nationally.Enthuse students and staff and advocate for History and its importance in the curriculum.Be a superb teacher with high expectations of what children can achieve and guide the team to meet those expectations.Communicate effectively, uphold a strong moral purpose, and stay fully committed to outstanding learning through a strong knowledge-based curriculum with clear pedagogy, consistent routines, and high student aspirations.Requirements / Qualifications

History specialist with a love of the subject.Ability to share passion for History with students and staff.Experience in leadership is welcome but not required; support will be provided to ensure high performance of History.Strong classroom teaching with high expectations for pupil achievement.Good communication skills, strong moral purpose, and commitment to high aspirations for students.Working for TKAT
