The North of England Commercial Procurement Collaborative (NOECPC) invites you to apply for the role of Head of Governance and Performance, based in Sheffield. You will lead a dedicated team to ensure NOE CPC delivers class-leading NHS procurement Solutions to customers across the NHS and the wider public sector.

The Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (LYPFT) is the main provider of Mental Health and Learning Disability services in Leeds, with specialist services across the country. LYPFT is a teaching trust with strong links to local universities and a focus on teaching, research and development.

Key Responsibilities

Lead a team of performance and governance specialists.

Develop and implement strategies to enhance quality, compliance and delivery of NOE CPC procurement solutions.

Lead the implementation of Audit and Contract Compliance, Reporting, Governance of Policies and Processes.

Provide leadership for projects such as Supplier Relationship Management.

Develop NOE CPC as a central shared service across all functions.

Provide strategic leadership to support delivery of the Department of Health national work plan and ensure milestones are met.

Deliver a governance and performance support service to the wider team and stakeholders.

Manage support services delivering operational service to clients, including contract management support, performance reporting and audit compliance.

Ensure the Facilities and Office Solutions Category Management Service meets contractual obligations and delivers high quality, cost-effective savings while remaining compliant.

About You

An excellent communicator with strong leadership skills.

Extensive experience managing customer engagement and business development functions to NHS procurement professionals or similar fields.

Creative and innovative in developing business development strategies.

Organised with exceptional attention to detail.

Passionate about contributing to the improvement of NHS services.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications:

Educated to degree level in a related subject area or equivalent experience.

Experience:

Extensive experience in the commercial environment within a complex organisation.

Skills:

Good understanding of governance and risk management frameworks and compliance activities.
