Overview

Head of Finance to join the leadership team of a successful SME business within the service sector. The role is based in Chesterfield with hybrid working. You’ll lead a talented finance team and work closely with the Executive Board, acting as a trusted partner to provide critical insights, positive challenge, and guidance that enables smart decision-making and supports the long-term success of the business.Responsibilities

Lead and develop a small Finance TeamPartner with the Executive Board, providing insights and guidanceOversee financial control, reporting, budgets, audits, and complianceDrive process improvements, digital tools, and automationSupport strategic growth through modelling, forecasting, and profitability analysisQualifications

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)Strong technical knowledge (UK GAAP, audit, VAT, payroll, tax)Proven leadership and stakeholder management skillsCommercially astute, proactive, and confident presenting to BoardsDetails
