HEAD OF DATA PLATFORM UP TO £120,000 LONDON (CANARY WHARF - HYBRID) This is an exciting opportunity to lead a major enterprise data transformation for a large-scale financial services organisation. You''ll play a pivotal role in defining data strategy, shaping cloud architecture and building a modern platform that supports business-critical decision making across the organisation. THE COMPANY Our client is a well-established financial services business undergoing significant investment in its data and technology capabilities. With a strong focus on modernisation, they are building a next-generation cloud data platform and are looking for an experienced leader to drive that journey forward. THE ROLE Define and deliver the enterprise Data Platform strategy, roadmap and architecture Lead the migration from legacy data environments to a modern cloud platform Build, develop and scale a high-performing Data Platform and Engineering function Drive best practice across data engineering, governance, security and compliance Work closely with senior stakeholders to influence business-wide data strategy Manage third-party vendors and delivery partners to ensure successful execution of strategic programmes YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Proven experience building enterprise-scale cloud data platforms Strong leadership experience managing Data Engineering teams and senior technical professionals Experience delivering cloud migration and large-scale data transformation programmes Strong ..... full job details .....
