Head of CommercialDuration: 6 months initiallyRate: day rate, inside IR35 (flexible, depending on experience)Working pattern: Hybrid About the RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Commercial to lead and drive commercial activity across a large and diverse service portfolio.This role will focus on delivering income generation, commercial growth, and service transformation, whilst ensuring high-quality customer experience and sustainable financial performance across commercial venues, events, and wider community-based services.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development and delivery of commercial strategies and income generation plans Identify and implement new business development and commercial opportunities Drive improvements across commercial venues, events, leisure, and cultural services Oversee commercial performance, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning Lead service transformation and embed a culture of continuous improvement and innovation Develop strong partnerships with stakeholders, external organisations, and community groups Use market analysis and performance data to inform commercial decisions and service delivery Manage contracts, procurement activity, and supplier relationships Lead and develop high-performing teams across commercial operations Work closely with senior leadership and elected members to support strategic priorities Key RequirementsProven experience operating in a senior commercial leadership role within a ..... full job details .....
