Head of Commercial South East London £100,000 £140,000 + Car Allowance or Company Car + Bonus The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Commercial to take ownership of the commercial function within an established and growing construction business based in South East London. This is a key leadership role for a commercially astute Head of Commercial who can shape and drive commercial strategy, strengthen processes and reporting, and provide high-level commercial leadership across the business. The Role Reporting into the senior leadership team, you will take responsibility for the commercial requirements of the business, ensuring strong commercial governance, financial control and effective contract management. You will play a central role in protecting and improving commercial performance, while developing productive relationships with customers, suppliers, stakeholders and internal teams. Key responsibilities will include: Developing and implementing the commercial strategy and associated reporting. Providing commercial leadership and input throughout the tender and negotiation process. Taking overall responsibility for contract management and administration. Managing commercial risk and ensuring contractual obligations are understood and maintained. Overseeing supply chain management and commercial administration.
