Head of Additional Learning SupportLocation: EssexSalary: 50,000- 55,000Contract: Full TimeAre you an experienced SEND/Additional Learning Support professional looking for a senior strategic leadership opportunity?We are recruiting for a Head of Additional Learning Support to lead and develop a specialist education service supporting children and young people with SEND and health needs.This is a senior role combining strategic leadership, service development, safeguarding, curriculum knowledge and operational management. You will work closely with education providers, families, local authorities and partner organisations to ensure high-quality, inclusive provision.The ideal candidate will have: Significant experience within SEND, SEN, Inclusion, Additional Learning Support or a similar specialist education service A relevant SEN/SEND or specialist qualification QTS / Qualified Teacher Status Strong experience working within an education environment - ideally FE, schools, specialist provision or local authority Experience in a senior management, service leadership or curriculum management position Strong knowledge of SEND, inclusive teaching, curriculum pathways and individual learner needs Experience developing and implementing policies, service plans and improvement initiatives Excellent communication, leadership and partnership-working skillsThis opportunity would suit an experienced Head of SEND, SEND Manager, SENCO, ALS Manager, Learning Support Manager, Inclusion ..... full job details .....
