Head of Adolescent Safeguarding

OverviewDudley Council is reshaping its directorate and is looking for a Head of Adolescent Safeguarding to join our team. We have adopted the Family Safeguarding model originally pioneered by Hertfordshire and are keen to make best use of this multi-disciplinary approach across our wider service. The post will lead our teams working with young people and families where risk outside of the family is an additional complication; you will have responsibility for work with children who go missing and you will be our strategic lead across exploitation. Working within a Restorative Practice model, you will be part of an energised leadership team and join us at a time when we bring alive our new working model. The post is subject to medical clearance and an enhanced DBS check. Dudley Council is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Responsibilities

Lead our teams working with young people and families where risk outside of the family is an additional complication.
