Head Chef

I am looking for a head chef/strong sous chef to work alongside a group exec chef, a real passionate foodie and highly thought of in the business. To further develop the current food offer, drive sales, and deputise for them.

All the menus are freshly prepared daily, including all baking, and it is open for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. It is a very busy restaurant.

A massive bonus is that you will work sensible hours (40 hours a week) with no evenings and regular weekends off.If you love being a chef, but don''t want to work 60 hours a week and every evening and weekend then this could be the job for you.

Lead the daily operation of the kitchen, you will be hands on.Help to manage the GP, labour and all costs and budgets.

Train, develop and lead your team.

Monitor stock levels and manage stock ordersManage the cleaning of equipment and working areas to the highest food hygiene standards.Prepare and cook the all fresh company menu.

Plan rotas and holidays to meet service level requirements.We are looking for:An experienced Head Chef/Strong Soucs Chef with a background working in all fresh high volume kitchens.

Patience for training and developing chefs to improve their sklills.

Friendly, with an engaging personality and a genuine love for cookin g fresh food.

Strong communicator who can motivate and develop their team to deliver with enthusiasm and great personality.Knowledgeable in Food Hygiene and Health and Safety requirements.Commercially aware to help achieve the GP, costs, budgets, labour, wastage.
