Group Financial Controller

Our client, a specialist organisation is seeking a Group Financial Controller to join its finance team in Poole, Dorset. This permanent role will play a central part in supporting the business as it operates as a standalone entity, with responsibility for group financial reporting, treasury, taxation, governance and financial controls.Key Responsibilities:Lead the preparation and delivery of accurate monthly, quarterly and annual group financial statementsOversee the consolidation of global financial results, including intercompany eliminationsEnsure compliance with relevant accounting standards, including IFRS and GAAPDevelop and maintain effective financial controls, governance frameworks and risk management processesManage external audits and relationships with auditors, advisers, regulators and financial institutionsOversee global cash management, liquidity planning, banking relationships, debt facilities and working capitalLead foreign exchange risk management, hedging strategies, taxation compliance and transfer pricing activitiesDrive improvements across financial systems, ERP platforms, reporting processes and automationLeadership and Stakeholder Management:Lead, mentor and develop a global finance teamPartner with senior leadership to provide financial insight and strategic guidanceSupport acquisition integration, restructuring and the development of scalable finance processesMonitor regulatory developments and assess their potential impact on the groupIdentify and ..... full job details .....
