Group Financial Controller

Group Financial Controller - Up to £85,000 + Bonus and Benefits - Kent/Hybrid My client, a consultancy business based in Kent, is looking to appoint a Group Financial Controller to take responsibility for the financial control, reporting and governance of the Group and its six trading subsidiaries. Reporting to the CEO, the role will lead the Group''s financial reporting and control environment, ensuring robust processes, accurate reporting and strong financial governance across the business. Alongside core financial control responsibilities, the role will provide meaningful financial insight to the CEO and senior leadership team, helping them understand performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability and returns. Key Responsibilities: Lead the preparation of Group statutory accounts, including consolidation of six trading subsidiaries. Own the Group''s financial control framework, ensuring consistent accounting policies, processes and controls across all entities. Manage the year-end audit, working closely with external auditors and other professional advisers. Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards, company law and AIM-related reporting requirements. Produce accurate and insightful consolidated management accounts, KPIs and Board reporting. Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning processes.
