Group Financial Accountant

Job Title: Group Financial AccountantSalary: £55,000 - £60,000 Location: Manchester (Hybrid Working - 4 days on site)OverviewMy client is seeking a technically strong and commercially minded Group Financial Accountant to support the financial reporting and control environment across a growing group of companies.This role will be responsible for group reporting, consolidation, statutory accounts, and complex accounting.The successful candidate will work closely with senior finance stakeholders, providing accurate financial information, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.Key Responsibilities:Group and Statutory ReportingConsolidation and Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements for the group.Month-End/Year-End Close: Oversee timely and accurate group-wide reporting processes.Statutory Accounts and Audit: Prepare statutory accounts for subsidiaries and the group, acting as the main point of contact for external auditors.Technical Accounting: Ensure compliance with IFRS/UK GAAP, keeping up to date with accounting standard changes.Controls and Policies: Implement and maintain robust financial controls and policies across all subsidiaries.Intercompany Transactions: Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.Skills and Experience RequiredACA Qualified ideally with an Audit backgroundStrong technical accounting knowledgeExcellent Excel skills and strong attention to detailConfident communicator with the ability ..... full job details .....
