Group Financial Accountant

to play a key role in its continued success.Location:

Loughborough (Hybrid – 3 days in the office)Salary:

£46,735 – £55,755 per annum + outstanding holiday allowance and pension contributionNote:

This is a broad and varied role that goes beyond narrow technical accounting. You’ll:Lead on the preparation and consolidation of the University’s Annual Report and Financial Statements (FRS102) and those of its subsidiaries.Oversee subsidiary and spin-out reporting, ensuring robust control and compliance.Manage a small, driven team of three: two qualified Financial Accountants (covering fixed assets, tax and subsidiaries) and one Assistant Accountant in training.Support financial planning, including forecasting for central costs and depreciation.Work closely with senior stakeholders across the University, providing technical expertise and insight.About you

A fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).Experience in statutory accounts preparation and compliance with FRS102.Outgoing, delivery-focused, with the drive to take ownership and see things through.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Why join Loughborough University?
