Group Accountant

An excellent opportunity has become available for a permanent Group Accountant to join a market leading international business who have experienced year on year growth. This organisation pride themselves on low staff turnover. Based on growth plans for the next 3-5 years the company is looking to strengthen their team with a Group Accountant who will take ownership of:Group reporting and consolidationBudgeting, forecasting and planningTechnical accounting and projects-providing accounting support across complex areas and supporting accurate financial reportingTax compliance and related tasksSystems and process improvementStakeholder engagement and liaison with non finance colleagues by delivering clear, concise financial insights enabling informed decision-making to ensure adherence to relevant business and systems controlsAudits-assist with statutory reporting and end to end audit process by resolving technical accounting issues and to meet reporting deadlinesSkills and experience required:Fully Qualified Accountant or QBE with a strong interest in reporting and technical accountingProven track record in company reporting, consolidation and internal financial controlsAbility to improve processes as well and interrogate and interpret dataProactive with the ability to influence decision making and build and maintain relationships internally and externallyExperience with budgeting and forecasting processes at a group levelExposure to corporation tax and UK tax compliance ..... full job details .....
