Group Accountant

Group Accountant£70-75K (6 month FTC)My client is a technology company based in Central London and are looking for a Group Financial Accountant for 6 months.Duties Include:Supporting the group consolidation and the preparation of group financial reporting, including reporting by functionSupport monthly financial reporting, including (but not limited to) automating functional reporting, implementing regional and product-level PandL reporting, and supporting financial KPI reporting aligned to agreed business strategiesPreparing and reviewing management accounts in a multi-entity, multi-currency environmentReviewing the work of junior team members, providing quality control and developing the teamSupport audit transition to new auditorIdentifying and driving process improvements across the finance functionLeveraging AI tools and supporting or leading AI-related projects and finance transformation initiatives to improve efficiency, automation, and process effectiveness across the finance functionRequirements:A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)Strong technical ground and excellent attention to detailProven experience thriving in a fast-paced environment - comfortable with ambiguity, shifting priorities, and paceA self-starter who can hit the ground running with minimal hand-holdingA genuine appetite for improving processes and project-managing changeStrong financial and management accounting experienceExperience preparing group reporting by functionExposure to ..... full job details .....
