Experienced in management accounting, you will manage a small team supporting the Assistant Director for Finance to deliver accurate reporting to management and the Director of Finance to ensure sound governance.What will you be doing?- Leading a small team in producing high-quality revenue and capital monitoring- Production of quarterly monitoring reports to be scrutinised by the Strategic Leadership Team and Councillors- Handling enquiries from budget holders and directors, providing strategic advice on budgeting, forecasting, and year-end processes- Promoting strong financial governance and sharing best practice and support on legislative and guidance changes- Identifying, developing and supporting opportunities and initiatives to transform the delivery of services across the Council, whilst promoting continuous improvementAbout youAs an ideal candidate, you will have:- CCAB qualification or relevant experience and an excellent working knowledge of the relevant legislation and regulations- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines, and a concern for order and accuracy- Experience within a busy ..... full job details .....
