Senior Group Accountant

I''m currently supporting a global leader within the engineering sector, in the search for a Senior Group Accountant to join their growing Group Finance function.This is an outstanding opportunity for a technically strong qualified accountant looking to take ownership of a complex multinational consolidation process within a fast-paced, PE-backed environment.Key Responsibilities: Lead the Group consolidation process and month-end close activities Review and oversee the work of the Group Accountant Own consolidation eliminations, intercompany balances and Group recharges Act as the Group SME for OneStream consolidation software Partner with Treasury, Tax, FPandA, Internal Audit and site finance teams globally Drive financial control improvements and process efficiencies Support investor reporting, lender reporting and external audit requirements Provide technical accounting expertise across IFRS, UK GAAP and US GAAP mattersAbout You: ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent) Strong technical accounting background Previous consolidation experience within industry or practice Experience with IFRS reporting Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Comfortable operating within a complex international organisationDesirable Experience: OneStream or similar consolidation software Private equity-backed businesses UK GAAP and US GAAP exposure Manufacturing, aerospace or engineering environmentsWhy my client?
