About the Role

RGB Recruitment is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative for a full-time, agency temporary role covering three months’ absence in Yeovil, paying £13.45 per hour. You will maintain communal outdoor spaces, including grass, shrubs, and hedges, while performing soft landscaping and minor tree work. Duties also involve responding to reactive maintenance, clearing hazards and dumped items, and managing a fortnightly schedule. This position requires practical horticultural skills, a valid driving licence for the company van provided, and the ability to work independently. Previous grounds maintenance experience is essential for this physically active, outdoor-based role within the local area.

Key Responsibilities
✔️ Maintain communal outdoor areas, including grass, shrubs and hedges.
✔️ Carry out soft landscaping and minor tree work where required.
✔️ Respond to reactive maintenance issues, including clearing hazards and dumped items.
✔️ Plan and manage your workload across a fortnightly maintenance schedule.
✔️ Work safely and efficiently as part of a supportive team.
What We're Looking For
✔️ Practical grounds maintenance or horticultural experience.
✔️ A proactive attitude and strong attention to detail.
✔️ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
✔️ Full UK driving licence (towing licence desirable).
✔️ PA1 & PA6AW and/or NPTC qualifications are desirable but not essential.
