SEND Teaching AssistantDaily Rate: £90 - £110Location: CroydonJob Type: Full-timeWe are seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a supportive team in a SEND school located in Croydon. This role is ideal for someone who has experience in educational settings and is passionate about providing support to students with special educational needs and disabilities.Day-to-day of the role:Assist in the delivery of tailored educational programs designed to meet the individual needs of SEND students.Work closely with teachers to implement strategies that promote student learning and engagement.Support students with their educational and social development, both in and out of the classroom.Encourage and assist students during educational activities and recreational periods.Monitor and support the progress of students and report observations to relevant staff.Maintain a safe and positive learning environment for all students.Required Skills and Qualifications:Previous experience working in educational settings, particularly with SEND students.Strong understanding of the challenges faced by students with special educational needs.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.A compassionate and patient approach to handling challenging situations.Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).Benefits:Competitive daily rate.Opportunity to work in a rewarding and impactful role.Supportive and inclusive team ..... full job details .....
