We know that our success is derived from a total commitment to pursue excellence in both our people and our technology which we heavily invest in.We are currently hiring for an individual with strong quantitative skills to join our Quantitative Trading desk within the next month.Your future role within Onyx would include:Delivering high quality quantitative strategies in productionMonitoring continuous trading, strategy performance and all relevant risksImplementing signals and relevant datasets within the global execution platformLeveraging your trading and market expertise by sharing production results, methodology, data sets and processes with traders and senior managementSupporting the full-strategy trading cycle from risk calibration to trade executionsCompleted Bachelors or Advanced degree in a quantitative field such as data science, statistics, mathematics, physics, or engineering, graduating in 2025 or earlierStrong knowledge in statistics and Machine LearningCapacity to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while keeping strong attention to detailStrong Python skills/experience essentialExperience in exploring large datasets across multiple time framesCuriosity about global energy and commodities marketsIntellectual curiosity to explore new data sets, solve complex problems, drive innovative processes, and connect the dots between multiple fieldsCapacity to work with autonomy within a collegial and collaborative environmentTrading expertise and market knowledge which can be leveraged in the systematic space is a plusGood communication skillsThis role is for an immediate start and therefore we would advise against applying if you are yet to complete your ..... full job details .....
