As a member of one of Tower’s trading teams, a Quantitative Trader / Researcher will be using Tower’s in-house trading system—one of the fastest and most comprehensive in the world—to develop and deploy algorithmic trading strategies based on patterns in market behavior.

Responsibilities

Designing, implementing, and deploying high or mid-frequency trading algorithms

Working with a dedicated mentor to research and enhance existing trading strategies

Exploring trading ideas by analyzing market data.

Creating tools to analyze data for patterns

Contributing to libraries of analytical computations to support market data analysis and trading

Qualifications

A Master’s and/or PhD in mathematics, statistics, physics, electrical engineering, computer science, data science, financial engineering, or related fields

A strong background in Python, C++

Strong problem-solving abilities

A passion for new technologies and ideas

The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication skills
