Thinking about a career in teaching and keen to gain real classroom experience?We are recruiting enthusiastic and articulate graduates for flexible day-to-day supply work as Cover Supervisors in secondary schools across Oldham.The RoleAs a Cover Supervisor, you will:Take the lead in the absence of the teacherDeliver pre-planned lessons and provided resourcesManage behaviour and maintain a positive learning environmentEncourage independent learning and pupil participationSupport pupils with their learning and pastoral needsProvide a clear handover to the class teacherWorking hours are typically 8.20am to 3.20pm, Monday to Friday, with flexible ad hoc opportunities available.Experience in schools, sports coaching, youth work, drama, clubs or working with children and young people- especially MAHDLO is highly valued.Who We''re Looking ForThis role is ideal for graduates considering a career in teaching.
