Goods-In Stores Operative

We are recruiting for a Stores Operative to support the logistics and supply chain operations for our Formula One client based in Woking.

This long-term contract role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail, a proactive mindset, and a passion for precision in a high-performance environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming goods, ensuring accuracy against delivery notes and purchase orders.
• Check for damage, discrepancies, and conformity to specifications.
• Book goods into the inventory system and label appropriately.
• Maintain accurate stock records and ensure traceability of components.
• Work closely with internal departments to ensure timely distribution of parts.
• Support inventory control and cycle counting activities.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times.

Required Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a Stores or Goods In role, ideally within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Experience using ERP or stock control systems is desirable.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
