Global Shipping CoordinatorCrawley, West Sussex 30,000- 43,000 DOE PermanentThe OpportunityLloyd Recruitment Services is working with a growing FMCG business in Crawley to recruit an experienced Global Shipping Coordinator.Supplying products to major retailers, the business is looking for someone to take ownership of its international shipping operations in this newly created, standalone role.You will coordinate shipments from overseas suppliers through to final delivery, working with freight forwarders and logistics partners across the UK and Europe. This is an excellent opportunity for someone confident working independently, with potential for career progression as the business grows.Key ResponsibilitiesManage international shipments from booking through to delivery, primarily under FOB termsCoordinate sea freight, container bookings and overseas suppliersMonitor ETAs, shipping schedules and delivery deadlinesManage shipping documentation and support customs clearanceMaintain shipment trackers and keep internal teams updatedBuild relationships with freight forwarders and logistics partnersResolve shipping issues and identify opportunities to improve efficiencySkills and ExperienceProven experience in shipping, imports or international logisticsStrong knowledge of sea freight, FOB terms and container shippingExperience importing goods from the Far East into the UK and/or EuropeFMCG, retail or private-label experience would be advantageousKnowledge of customs procedures and ..... full job details .....
