Global Credit Solutions - Credit Trader - Associate

Overview
The Global Credit Solutions Team at J.P. Morgan provides secondary market liquidity to investors across a wide range of off-the-run bonds and receivables, as well as bespoke hedging and financing solutions. The team works in close collaboration with both the Corporate and Institutional Sales teams to deliver tailored single-asset non-recourse facilities. In addition to the corporate hedging product offering, the team is actively involved in primary market underwriting and participations, ensuring comprehensive coverage of borrower client needs.As Associate you will join our Global Credit Solutions Trading team in London to work with a global remit, and focus on corporate credit hedging, receivables trading and supply chain financing solutions in partnership with internal stakeholders.Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with Corporate Sales and clients to offer, execute and risk manage credit hedging products (e.g. Bespoke CDS, Financial Guarantee, Alternative Letter of Credit), ensuring robust risk management.Lead the negotiation, execution and risk management of innovative single asset non-recourse financing transactions, tailored to investor client needs.Identify trade ideas and manage the underwriting process for primary market transactions within the Global Credit Solutions mandate, ensuring thorough analysis and due diligenceDeliver sports financing solutions, including the monetization of player transfer receivables, to meet the unique needs of clients in the sports industry.Serve as the key entry point for partnerships with Credit Markets Private Credit Solutions and Global Trade and Working Capital, fostering collaboration and driving approval processes.Key Requirements
Previous exposure to credit products, bespoke financing transactions, and dynamic risk managementStrong understanding of financial markets, credit products, and risk management strategies.Proven experience in corporate solutions within capital markets.Demonstrated ability to identify and analyze the impact of macro-events on credit risk.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain stakeholder and relationships.Proactive and entrepreneurial attitude, with the ability to proactively generate trade ideas in close collaboration with the credit analysts.This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity.
