About the Role:
- Design and teach engaging geography lessons that meet curriculum standards
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive classroom that caters to diverse learning styles
- Monitor and record student achievements, adjusting methods to support progress
- Keep open and proactive communication with parents and guardians
- Work closely with fellow staff to enrich and improve educational outcomes
The ideal candidate will:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent certification, with experience teaching geography at the secondary level
- Deep knowledge of the geography curriculum, including both physical and human geography topics
- Demonstrated ability to build an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that fosters curiosity and analytical thinking
- Strong skills in communication and effective classroom management
- Dedicated to continuous professional growth and teamwork
