About the Role:
An ambitious and welcoming secondary school in Winslow is looking for a dedicated Geography Teacher to join their Humanities faculty. You will deliver engaging and challenging Geography lessons, helping students to develop curiosity about the world around them and succeed academically at KS3 and KS4.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Geography across KS3–KS4, with the opportunity to contribute to KS5 if experienced.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that foster critical thinking and geographical enquiry.
- Inspire students through fieldwork, real-world examples, and cross-curricular projects.
- Contribute to the wider school community through enrichment activities and trips.
- Work collaboratively with the Humanities team to raise attainment and progress.
Requirements:
- QTS or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge in Geography.
- Experience teaching GCSE Geography desirable.
- Enthusiasm for fieldwork and developing pupils’ geographical understanding.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain).
