About the Role:
- Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Create an inclusive, supportive classroom environment that meets the needs of diverse learners
- Assess and track student progress, adapting teaching methods to maximise achievement
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents and carers
- Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve teaching and learning outcomes
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching Geography at secondary level
- Have a strong grasp of the Geography curriculum, including both physical and human geography
- Demonstrate the ability to create a stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking
- Possess excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Be committed to professional development and collaborative teamwork
